“I have been involved with the Christchurch Special Needs Library for almost 10 years as I joined not long after my youngest son George was born. George suffered a brain haemorrhage at birth and this means both gross and fine motor skills are very difficult for George and he has no left fie rd vision. The library has been a wonderful source of learning tools for us to use at home to help reach our goals with George. I have over the years also used the many games maths and English supports to help my older son.
I have found them to be very supportive and above all knowledgeable on what resources I should try. I have recommended them to many people over the years and see them as a valuable resource for our family and a lovely place to visit.”
